Mahindra and Mahindra is gearing up to launch its latest electric SUVs, the XEV 9e and Mahindra BE 6. The company has revealed the variant-wise prices for both models and announced the commencement of bookings starting February 14.
These electric SUVs are built on the new INGLO platform and come with two battery pack options.
Pricing Details
The Mahindra BE 6 is available in five variants, with prices ranging from Rs 18.90 lakh to Rs 26.90 lakh (ex-showroom). The Mahindra XEV 9e comes in four variants, priced between Rs 21.90 lakh and Rs 30.50 lakh (ex-showroom).

Booking and Delivery
Bookings for the XEV 9e and Mahindra BE 6 opened on February 14. Customers were able to register their preferred model and variant on the official website starting February 6. Delivery timelines vary depending on the variant:
* Pack One/One Above: August 2025
* Pack Two: July 2025
* Pack Three Select: June 2025
* Pack Three: Mid-March 2025
Deliveries for the top-spec variant (Pack Three) are expected to begin in early March 2025, with other variants following in the subsequent months.
Variants and Features
The Mahindra BE 6 and XEV 9e are available in three broad variants: Pack One, Pack Two, and Pack Three. Mahindra has also introduced the Pack One Above variant for the BE 6 and the Pack Three Select variant for both models.
Mahindra BE 6
Mahindra BE 6 Pack Two includes features such as adaptive cruise control, fabric seats, a start-up light sequence, level-2 ADAS, a Harman Kardon Audio system, NFC Key, and rear AC vents. This variant is priced at Rs 1.40 lakh over the Pack One Above.
Mahindra XEV 9e
The XEV 9e Pack Two features level 2 ADAS, a panoramic glass roof, TPMS, front parking sensors, an NFC key, 19-inch alloy wheels, a wireless charger, front fog lamps, a power driver’s seat, dual-zone climate control, an auto-dimming IRVM, rear AC vents, and a mounting for a tablet in the second row.
It is priced at Rs 3 lakh over the Pack One variant.
Additional Features and Safety
The Mahindra XEV 9e and Mahindra BE 6 are equipped with premium features, including a panoramic sunroof, multi-zone AC, wireless phone charger, ventilated and powered front seats, and a 1400-watt 16-speaker Harman Kardon audio system.
Both EVs also feature an augmented reality (AR) based heads-up display. The XEV 9e has three 12.3-inch screens, while the BE 6 has a dual-screen setup.
On the safety front, both models come with 7 airbags, ISOFIX child seat mounts, an electronic parking brake, a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), and a 360-degree camera.
They also offer level-2 ADAS with features like autonomous emergency braking and forward collision warning, along with a park assist system.
Battery and Range
The Mahindra BE 6 and XEV 9e offer 59 kWh and 79 kWh battery pack options, with a claimed range of over 500 km. Both EVs come with a single-motor rear-wheel-drive (RWD) setup.
Charging Options
Mahindra offers AC wall box chargers at an additional cost. The 7.2 kW AC charger is priced at Rs 50,000, while the 11.2 kW AC charger costs Rs 75,000.

Test drives for the Mahindra BE 6 and XEV 9e began in a phased manner starting January 14, 2025:

Mahindra BE 6 and XEV 9e have received a 5-star Bharat NCAP safety rating with the highest-ever scores by any car tested.
